Friend of the Stallion The Stallion that the lyrics state she's a friend of is represented by the character created by the band Ween. (The band wrote a song called the Stallion on their album Pure Guava) I incorporated this character who controls the Sun into this story. People seem to feel powerful when they name drop. For example, If you tried to cross someone who is high up in the political scene they might say, Hey, you better not mess with me, I'm a friend of the President! I'll have your ass! On the same token I felt that if the girl in the story was a friend of someone who controls the Sun, this might keep the average Spectrone (pronounced SPECK'-TRONE) from approaching her. However, using that same logic, if the Stallionis crazy about Plasticine, then she'll surely give him the time of day. |
