to lyrics page After a long day of drinking alcohol, David went walking. Quite intoxicated, and sneakily carrying a 40 ounce, he stumbled into a cemetery and blacked out. When he awoke, he found these lyrics scribbled, in his handwriting, on a place mat he had taken earlier from the bar. David, not remembering writing this, felt that he was "temporarily possessed" by a lonely spirit from the grave that he slept upon. 'Keep on Shining' was born.
He later went back to the site to "pay homage" to the forgotten spirit during a photo shoot. |

David scribbled out this final draft of 'Keep on Shining' the day after his first draft was written. After which he set up a couple of microphones, grabbed his acoustic guitar, and adlibed a melody for it. The melody that he adlibed that evening magically turned out to be the final melody that he used for his finally to the story of 'Plasticine Man'. |
