DVD Easter Eggs:

What is a DVD Easter Egg?
As most will know, during the Easter holiday, people will paint eggs, then hide them for their children to find. Extend that idea into the digital world where much of the same concept goes for easter eggs on DVD's. The developers who make the DVD's, their menu systems, etc. tend to hide special features on the disc.

Egg 1
Walking Through Times Square:
Navigate to "Videos" Menu, scroll down to "Capsule". Press 'LEFT' to highlight a box right of the screen. Press 'ENTER' to play a one minute clip of David Perry Walking through Times Square, New York. This raw clip was used later for "Capsule".

Egg 2
Plasticine Man Unplugged:
Navigate to "Live" Menu, scroll down to "Main Menu" and press 'RIGHT'. A box highlights at the top of the screen. Press 'ENTER' to see an alternate menu featuring Purple Tree Unplugged. Press the up arrow to select Bonus Video - "Live in the Middle of Nowhere" ( Egg 3)

Live in the Middle of Nowhere:
See Egg 2 description to access hidden menu containing link to this video featuring the band Purple Tree recording audio for "Plasticine Man". (Nothing Means that Much in Nowhere, and Fly to the Station)

Egg 4
Purple Tree First Live Performance Complete (June 2001):
Navigate to "Live" Menu, scroll down to "Main Menu" and press 'RIGHT'. A box highlights at the top of the screen. Press 'UP' and another box highlights to the right of the screen. Press 'ENTER' to see a low quality video of Purple Tree's First ever Live showcase. Only notable performance where Purple Tree was a Five Piece.

Egg 5
the David Perry Show Episode 1 (Comedy):
Avante Satire where David Perry Spins in a chair and is transported through time. Back to the Future Spoof. Navigate to "Extras" Menu, scroll down to "David Perry Live 1997" and press 'RIGHT'. Large Box highlights picture of David Perry on the right. Press 'ENTER' to view the David Perry Show - Episode 1 - the Time Traveler.

Egg 6
'Open Window' Rough Demo:
Navigate to "Extras" Menu, scroll down to "David Perry Live 1997" and press 'RIGHT'. Large Box highlights picture of David Perry on the right. Press 'RIGHT' again and a box highlights over the Purple Tree Text. Select 'ENTER' to view rough quality video demo of a song called 'Open Window" (Unreleased)

Egg 7
'Then There's You' Unfinished Music:
Select "Outtakes" from Main Menu and outtakes begin playing. At anytime during playback press 'RIGHT' arrow and a box highlights. Press 'ENTER' and video begins playing.
